Job Overview

Snug Home Insulations successfully delivered a large-scale retrofit project across eight high-rise blocks of occupied flats in Matson, Gloucestershire. The project was carried out under a government-funded scheme with stringent compliance requirements. The primary goal was to enhance the thermal efficiency, safety, and aesthetics of the buildings while minimising disruption to residents. 

Scope of Works 

Our comprehensive insulation and retrofit services for this project included: 
✅ Scaffolding Installation – Facilitating safe and efficient access to high-rise buildings. 
✅ External & Internal Painting and Decorating – Improving aesthetics and protecting surfaces. 
✅ Cavity Wall Extraction & Refill – Removing failed insulation and installing new, compliant insulation to improve thermal efficiency. 
✅ External Wall Insulation (EWI) System – Removing failed external wall insulation and applying a new compliant system. 
✅ Ventilation Works – Installing door undercuts and ensuring proper air circulation in each flat. 
✅ Resident Liaison & Coordination – Booking in works, providing updates, and ensuring minimal disruption. 
✅ Compliance & Quality Assurance – Ensuring all operatives were CSCS-certified and trained for specialist measures. 
✅ Comprehensive Client Updates & Handover Packs – Regular progress reports and detailed documentation to meet funding requirements.
